ram is able only 150 mb with no work,
scren qulity is awesome, but camara quality is poor, no multy tasking,miui is awesome,
no apps moving to sd card,

I am writing this review after 2 days of usage, I must say looks of device and MIUI exceeded my expectations. I am new to MIUI so, it took me some time to understand a few things. I am a heavy user a geek, so it took me less time to understand, but a normal user may take some time to get acquainted with MIUI interface. The device box didn't came with any headphones so that might be a negative. Talking in terms of Pros and Cons of device-

Pros
1. Nice MIUI, good for a change from regular stoc...

I have been using this phone for a week now and i regret buying it.
It heats very quickly, can't play games as the apps hang quite a lot, battery is poor and the voice quality when making calls is bad as well.
I would not recommend this phone to anyone.
Go for iphone rather if you can , its much better though not in the same price range.

I have been using a Moto G Ist Gen. Last week it fell down and the display cracked. Opted to buy a new phone and zeroed in on Redmi 2 based on the good feedback for Redmi 1 from a friend.
Pros: Excellent build quality
Perfect size and form factor
Brilliant and crisp display
Good battery backup - will last for atleast 12-14 hours with moderate to heavy usage

Cons: Slow
UI transitions not smooth
When you press the home key from any other screen, a please wait is shown saying Loading Lau...

Hi i ak using this phone from last 2 days and i also have redmi 1s
But i will say that camera of redmi 1s is far better than redmi2 ...

Pros of redmi2:
1. Slim and light weight
2. Great UI
3 good battery backup
4. Good front facing camer

Cons:
1. Flash light of back camera is yellow
When you click the photographs while using flash ithe output photograph will yellowin
And the pictures are also pixelated
2. Free ram is just 185 to 215

Redmi 1s is heavier in weight but camera is awsome

Don't hesitate to buy...excellent phone..rcvd yday...
superb display/camera/audio/battery..

my kid played whole day games on WIFI..still 40% battery available.
phone was slim & excellent.

Storage : Out of 8 GB available only 5.75 Only. SD Card Support Up to 32 GB.
Display : Best for the price
OTG : Supported
Battery : Last a day or more ( it has an explanation below )
Software: BAD
OS : Kitkat 4.4.4 & MIUI 6
* Apps not Movable to SD Card You cannot play big games having size more than...

Using for last 2 days.

The phone is okay with its price range.
good display
better camera
1080p video recording
design is okay

Coming with The MIUI6 interface,
Only 1GB RAM for MIUI6 is heavy for redmi 2.(only 300MB user ram available,still good)
and MIUI6 is bit tricky and need some time to understand this for normal stock android users..
battery is better..

DONT WORRY....
simple roms are coming soon for redmi 2

overall I will give 4stars for this device :)

even on my micromax mobile net run very fast,but in this set connection cut automatically,
very small font even after select large font.
i am very much unsatisfy.

Been using it for a day now and completely satisfied

Pros:
1. Good clarity Front and back cam
2. Though the default UI is dull there are lot of awesome customizable free UIs
3. Good battery life (didn't test with games) lasts > than 1 day otherwise
4. Best in class (7K)
5. Quick recharge technology enables swift battery charging
6. Fits well in the pocket due to the compact size (most compact and sleak mobile in this spec range amongst others currently in market)
