People who know me know that I'm not a fan of Apple phones, especially after having used them. Earlier, I use to compare my Moto G (2013) with it and favoured the Moto G. I also have a Moto E which is also good for its price, though I'll put it equal to the iOS based devices from Apple.

Now, I got the Redmi 2 in the first flash sale from Flipkart and they delivered it in 3 days. Good. And I'll now ask Apple to beat this.

The device has a premium look and doesn't feel like an entry level phone in any angel. The display is beautiful and smooth. The rear 8MP camera is as awesome as that was in Redmi 1s but the impressive part in camera section is the 2MP front cam which is just awesome in this price range. Sound output is good. using only for 3 hours but i can tell you it's an awesome upgrade from redmi 1s...it's so fluent and efficient..audio quality via headphone is top notch as well as external sound..there is no more heating problem which was there in redmi 1s..and the themes look much better..hence display is amazing..it's a must buy for a budget phone

Full light weight.. ,Good sound.. camera awesome, games yet to play but heats a little..Performance superb.. No lag till now..

I bought this phone for my aunt and when I checked it out, boy, I was very impressed. The MIUI take on Android is much above par, and in my opinion quite better than stock Android. You aren't missing anything with no Lollipop right now, in fact you won't be missing anything at all if you're coming from any other Android experience including Lollipop (imo). Received it today... Good communication and response from Flipkart.

Good Camera even indoors.
Loud speakerphone. Headphone is also loud and clear.
Instant OTG access.
Faster browsing in 3G SIM.
Much more customization options for the phone features.

The USB connector is fiddly... located deep inside.
Back is still slippery. Not enough grip.
Buttons not backlit... this is difficult to use.

No heating issue on day one straight out of the box... wish it doesnt creep in.

Important Points.

1. Headphone not given , why . How do we use Radio features.
2.No Screen guard given, why where do i get Screen guard ( last when i orderd Redmi mobile in first mobile nothing was given , when i purchase 2nd mobile, sim adaptor, 3 screen guard given) is this stratagy ? whatever but not fair.
3. where will i get cover( rubber cover).

What is the specs change subject to earlier Redmi, nothing except some change in outer look.

I received this mobile yesterday only. This is the best mobile in segment. What else you want i 7000 rs mobile. No other company mobile can match this quality and spec at this price level.
- Light weight
- Build quality is rich.
- Camera is better than Redmi 1S. I compared side by side. Camera features are also best.
- MIUI is simply best.
- Display quality is awesome.
Overall I am very happy.

It has too many UI problems ..
the worst thing in this device is- all background apps got closed automatically ,does not matter it is whats app or any important one..
i cant receive any message on whats app while i lock the device and when i open whats app it will instantly shows whole messages those were sent by your friends before..
