with great expectation i brought this phone .. only because redmi's 1s front camera was superb even thought it was of 1.3 mp , and the clarity was like 8mp... in redmi 2s the camera is of 2mp and clarity is like of a vga camera i am very disappointed by this , i am going to sell this off and will stick to redmi 1s. and also apps get killed eg , torrents and tubemate .. just as they use to do in redmi 1s ,, cant understand the benefit of 64 bit processor ,, guys buy redmi 1s , if u get it..

Redmi 2 is a value for money smartphone. It is not an entry level anymore but feels and performs like a 'SMART' phone all the way. Can't help falling for it !

Original accessories with Redmi 2 would pave for loyalist bonding.

I received REDMI 2 yesterday and the first impression is Wow..:)

pros:

1) Handy and Lighter :-)
2) Camers is good and pictures are clear
2) Features are very good
3) Touch and resolution is nice
4) Battery performance is good

Cons

1) No ear phones inside
2) Phone build is average

Best phone in 10k price segment no other phone has this good touch and sound and UI like redmi 2. Price is worth it.

I received Redmi 2 yesterday and it is beyond my expectations.
I compared this with Moto series phones and Redmi is the best one.

Color saturation, brightness and design are makes this phones looks good and attractive.

Good phone. Gives lots of customisation.

Not recommended for people who want the phone to work simply.

Very good phone if you want to totally control all apps and their permissions.

May have hiccups in between which I am ok with, especially related to MIUI. Dont go
for this if you dont like searching in MIUI forums to fix issues. :D
More like linux than windows when it comes to Usability. Sometimes issues come with software which you have to fix by searching on net :D

Hi, I had never bought a china phone before and was a great fan of samsung phones. After looking at the specification i was lured to buy this one .. Thanks to flipkart for quick delivery.

However im disappointed with phone performance after using for a day..

Issues:
Call quality is not upto the mark..it not as clear as it should be .. some noise is present.
Phone gets heated after the call or the internet usage.

Yet to explore more.. on other aspects.. but felt atleast the basic call quali...

I have received today, I am impressed

* Awesome sound with loud & decent.
* performance - so far good.
* display is very good for this price.
* camera - very good for this price.
* both SIM supports 4G.

I will come back in few days for battery review.

Coming to the hand set. Its pretty good to handle in one single hand.

Probs:
1. Good display and interface
2. Decent camera
3. OTG support

Cons:
1. No headphone.
2. One sim 4g and One sim 2g
3. Build quality can be still improve
