Have been using it for 2 weeks now.... and I must says its a brilliant handset.. for 17K its more then bang on the bucks.. maybe even more then that... hardware is brillant and so is the Octa Core Processer.

I am using this product from past one month now, and after a month decided to write a review. This is a good product in this segment... Compared to the Samsung Grand 2 and others in this price range, this stands first in terms of speed, response etc. Device never hanged in multitasking. Although I rarely play games high end game, but graphics are good.
Camera is awesome!.. Plus JBL headset adds value.
Battery support is good, last a day for regular use, but when comes to 15% starts to drain ...

Now about the phone :

Its been 3 days since I started using this phone.
I'll describe point by point about most of the common things about the device :

1. The Display : 441 PPI, Amazing HD super clear display. Everything looks stunning. Also the touchscreen glass and the display have very less gap in between. Very beautiful.

2. Battery life : Just O.K. Lasts a day with moderate usage. Use "Greenify" app for a little longer battery life.

3. O.S...

This is fantastic purchase at such a low price point. It is value for money. It is a great product & since I have purchased it I have not had any problems. The only down side is that I purchased it from flipkart who were prompt in delivery but now that i have the phone the flipcover is not available either on flipkart nor in the market. Maybe flipkart can help with this dilema.

Ok so I received the product yesterday. Delivery was hassle free from flipkart's side.
Packaging was good.
Product was delivered before the expected delivery date.
Now coming to the product.

1) The product looks premium for a phone of 17k range. There are concentric circle like
pattern on the back cover. The sides have a touch of chrome finish. Overall looks

Alcatel Idol X is really worthy to buy, excellent performance, easy to operate, only battery is an issue, its take large time to recharge further using in 3G network may charge fail within 4hrs time, further getting accessories like flip cover, screen protector is not possible, past one week i am roaming to the market & web sites, noting is available, Flipkart should take care this, before launching this products this could have been arranged by them, Flipkart delivery as usual excellent on ...

Great phone with excellent specs. But short on accessories. No variety in covers is available. It is almost impossible to get its screen guard (scratch guard) inNew Delhi itself then what would be the fate of other small towns

I had a budget of max 25K.
I wanted a mobile with good camera & top specification(RAM 2 GB atleast & Oct a core) but I do not want flagship devices as I have children at home & Rs 40000 plus on such device can go in drain in 5 min...

This phone, at the price that it's been sold, will kick all it's competitors out of the waters. As soon as I unpacked it, I was amazed to realize how light it is. Being an Xperia SL user for 1.5 years ( 1.7 Ghz Dual core with 1 GB ram ), this phone just felt like a luxury.

2. Really smooth UI. At first I thought I would install GO launcher on it, but didn't feel the need of doing that after using it just for few hours.
