I faced volte problem after a update of 313.13 MB it is now working fine... I got the software update on 17-11-2018... now I can use the jio or other Volte network providers...

This is phone is good ...value for money...camera quality is good in daylight condition..in lowlight condition camera is not good but that's okay considering the price range..
Initially there was no volte support...only 4g...but happy to inform that after two consecutive updates of 451 mb & 507mb I got the 4g volte support...also the 2nd update brings the October security patch...

flipkart customer. 1. hit mobile 2.sound quality bad&low. 3. Jio video calling not support. 4. battery backup bad. 5. normal use phone battery backup 4 hours screen on time, ( I am not happy ) Redmi 5a best mobile phone by now. better battery backup good, jio video call support

I bought 2 mobiles. 1 has volume problem and other has Volte. You will not find Volte or lte in network type search. I tried all setting but nothing worked. Had I bought Jio Sim before return policy expiry would have returned this phone. I even factory reset it. Don't buy this phone.
