Amazing phone

I went ahead and bought this instead of g7 because of following reasons
1. OLED screen. Even if g7 lcd has excellent screen nothing can beat oled black levels
2. No Notch. I hate notches. Even if g7 has the feature to hide it, it wont work in all apps
3. After Oreo update this too gets AI camera and Thinq branding
4. Excellent Battery. Battery of this phone is lot better than g7
5. I dont use selfie camera much
6. I prefer earphones for listening music, so loud sound of g7 is of no use for me
7. I hardly use Google Assistant
8. Wide angle camera FOV is 120 vs 107 of g7
9. Internal storage is 128GB vs 64GB. The G7 with 128GB is 10k more
9. Lastly Flipkart offering 90% buyback gurantee for G7 which is valid only for less than 8 months is of no use for me as am planning to use this phone for atleast a year.

So if you have all the above requirements go ahead and buy this device. Also the screen issues highlighted online is overblown and the batch which we get in India have very less prone to those issues.

Its premium phone but has started hanging lately

One of the best phone under 30k. I got it for 25k in sale. Far better than one plus mobiles.

I like the speed .ease of using it without much navigation. Its light weight and with good ratio.camera and sound is good. Though selfie camera could be of higher megapixel. Wish it had more ram and oreo.

Came from one plus 5.. I found following things better than OP5.
Display quality is amazing..
Customizable UI..
Wide angle camera..
Better quality regular camera and its options..
Always on display..
Look n feel..

Following are par with OP 5

Battery life..
Charging speed..
Call quality and connectivity..
Build quality..

Following are worse than OP5 even worse than mid range phone..

I cant believe its powered by 835.. Hanging too much while using dial to someone.. If we try to cut the call, its not respond immediately..

While switch between apps it thinks 3 seconds..

Ram management is very poor.. Even 5 apps cannot be kept in memory..

Useless front camera.. We have to forget this phone costs 35000, while taking selfies..

Software Updates, Not support the project treble..

Sound from Speakers are not loud enough while playing videos from YouTube.. Ringtones are loud enough..

Bad resale value, I can't purchase scratch card from any local store..

My verdict
If you concentrate brand name,stylish only from outside, have more money and patience, go for it..
