Lumia 520 is hell of an improvement over 510.

510 is
Damn damn slow.

520 offers more space, SD card support, double RAM

NOKIA is a reliable brand and delivers.
The phone is good.
Battery back up is fine.
Less apps available in market though.
Might hang while playing high graphic games, but use your phone accordingly and it works great.

The body quality of the phone is perfect... but the windows OS is really headache to use... not at all user friendly and also the fone is too too too slow... even it takes 10 - 15 Seconds to open whatsapp.... Not recommended at all....

Since long I was in search of a reasonable cost smart phone and after too much survey, I found that Amazon would provide me better service than others. Hence I booked my order here and to my surprise, within less than two days my smartphone got delivered to my home in a perfect condition and I am still using it without any problem since last four months. I am really happy to get Amazon as provider which is always keen about guaranteed delivery and customer satisfaction. I wish to continue my linkage with Amazon.

I think this is an amazing option at this price point -- it's much better than the regular phones you get for only a thousand or two less -- better to get this phone at the start point for cell phones.

I like this phone. Why? Because it offers quality at low price. The phone looks classy, is pleasing to hold and operate as it fits well too. The build quality is great and the phone feels durable. However, it comes with some cranky shortcomings like a screen that decides to play havoc outdoors in sunlight. The glass catches fingerprints easily, in which case it reflects light like a mirror. The camera is too close to surface making it susceptible to catch scratches and fingerprints. The earphones supplied are dull and the charger is a tad short.

Windows phone OS comes across at first as rather plain, but gains your appreciation after a few days. Lumia 510 does not miss out much on OS compared to other WPs. Where it falls behind though is on specifications, which are offer nothing to boast about, but sufficient for a moderate user. There is no OS lag in spite of measly 256 mb ram. That it is a slow gun is perceptible only on massive apps or games.

Mind you though (for any windows phone) windows OS is not flexible like android (on which tasks are made simpler), so simple things like switching off mobile internet takes more swipes. It looks uncluttered though, unlike android. Most of non competitor (google) apps are available, so you wont miss out there. The functionality is much better in android phone though the live tiles are interestingly functional. Your available personal storage is way lower than advertised 4 GB.
The camera is good but it acts funny when you push it to extreme settings. Audio quality is okay on other speakers, the phone speaker is quite bold when set loud, the telephony is excellent - no hushed voices on calls and catches signals well. Nokia has pre-installed useful apps.

Most of phones in this price range suffer from similar shortcomings, but where Lumia 510 stands out is in better quality.
I would recommend this phone to any ordinary user, not too keen on gaming and who prefers quality over performance.
