Earlier, I was worried about whether to purchase this one or not due to many negative cons in reviews. But after purchasing one plus 9 pro, I would say it's the perfect phone to switch. One of the best display I have ever seen. I perform many game test also in this device and I found the best performance. And the powerful wrap charge is the one which never disappoint. Guys if you want to upgrade from one plus 5,6 and 7 ..then definitely go for it.

Oneplus 9 pro is an overrated phone and has huge problems like heating, battery drain and suggested bugs with mediocre camera. I purchased with lot of expectations, but with so much overheating, I can't even hold this phone for 5 minutes in normal usage. I returned and Amazon as always is excellent in providing such customer care. Thanks Amazon and bye bye Oneplus

 Ordered on 30th March at 23:41 and got it on 1st April at 10:24am, so it was fast enough kudos to Amazon. I was using OnePlus 3T Midnight Black for 4 years now, even though that phone was working without any issues I ordered the 9 pro Pine Green just to upgrade the camera setup. I don't shuffle phones so I went with the top most configuration and I must say I'm fully satisfied with 9 Pro. My suggestion would be to opt for Pine Green color as it looks beautiful in person, you can't judge that color in photos. Camera quality is very good specifically for the wide angle camera as I've used my friend's iphone 12's camera and I liked 9 Pro's wide angle camera as it's much better to that of iPhone's. Adding few photos I shot of the phone. I will update this review after using it for few more days with some photos. Update after using the phone for 11 days (11 Apr 2021): Phone is working very smoothly, no overheating issues in gaming or regular usage. First few days I noticed that it was overheating during camera use under harsh sunlight and stopping camera from shooting photo/videos. But from last update I'm yet to encounter that issue again. Looks like they have fixed it already. Battery life is average...not bad...not good. But works for me for full day use. 12 Bit raw file out of this phone's camera is amazing with full of details. Use it to understand it. It is any day better compared to iPhone 12 or 12 pro's camera in term of colour accuracy and details. Not to forget about huge price difference between these phones. At 70k OnePlus 9 Pro is worth every rupee. Update: 26th April 2021 After the latest update battery performance is improved. 5 days with this new update 11.2.4.4 and I'm getting 7+ hrs most of the time, sometime 8+ hrs. Adding a screenshot for the same. Over sharpening in the photos taken with cameras now sorted. Photos look beautiful.

Camera is good. NO AUTO CALL RECORDING ALEXA HANDSFREE NEVER WORKS......... ALEXA IS ALWAYS SLEEPING ON THIS PHONE AND WILL NEVER LISTEN TO YOU. When spoken to customer care, they say it's problem of amazon and they will resolve it. Blame game is easy way out. BATTERY DRAINS OUT QUITE FAST HEATS UP TERRIBLY When tried to hook up with PC using the great red type C USB cable....it's defective....connects and reconnects every 2 seconds. Also when I was able to hold it for some time, the drivers failed to install (see screenshot). MESSEGAGING APP IS NOT THAT GOOD AS THAT OF MY PREVIOUS PHONE OPPO F11 PRO... OTPs are not displayed separately.... you have to search for them in messages Also unlike Oppo F11 pro there is not segregation of SMS conversations and notices. But there is still hope because hardware is too good. And all these problems can be resolved in future firmware upgrades. But Alexa should not be advertised so loudly when alexa handsfree simply does not work in this phone.

I have been a fan of one plus since 2016. I started with OnePlus 2 and for 5 years this device performed exceptionally. After the launch of the 9 series i was very eager to buy the 9 pro but was demotivated by the bad reviews posted here. I had finalized the iphone 12 but at the end moment i placed my trust on the OnePlus and bought this device ordered on 27th April and it was delivered on 7th May. So its been good 10 days usage now and i must say all issues that are being reported here are false. Never realized that the device is overheating or the battery backup is bad. Camera quality is amazing especially in low lights. Thanks to the graphics smoothening and high refresh rate, watching movies and videos is a delight. Though i am not a game fanatic, i played call of duty, modern combat for several hours and only encountered a mild heating. Battery backup is good and the warp charge is amazing. The well being mode, zen mode is a good initiative by one plus but i found it to be useless its rather annoying. I have found some lag in receiving notifications donot know if its a lag or a setting issue. The face id recognizes me even while wearing a face mask, kudos to that. Overall i am really satisfied with the 9 pro. if you are not a very hard core user then i think you will be more than happy with this product and even ditch the iphone like me. glad to have saved my 15k.

I have been using Oneplus devices since last 4 years. They have been 'consistently' giving the latest and one of the best hardware for the price every year as compared to much more expensive phones with similar hardware. Their software interface is almost near to stock android (faster android OS updates) which is again why i prefer Oneplus. Performance, built quality and battery life were consistently good...! My Oneplus 9 Pro booted and automatically restored all my 240 apps within few minutes. The phone did become little bit warm during the initial setup and automatic app installations, which should be expected in all high end phones even in those sold at 1 lakh and above. I do not suggest anyone to open up resource hungry apps during the initial setup. Give some time... I was using this device properly for last 3 weeks and after the initial setup my phone did not become warm at all, in spite of having these many apps and even after using the camera to take pics and videos. The phone does become hot during High resolution video calls which is not uncommon even in more expensive phones. Most of the people often open the camera app and try to shoot videos or take pics in high resolution immediately after booting for the first time when the phone is in fact using its maximum hardware resources to configure the device automatically. In such cases naturally the phone is expected to become warm or even hot during initial 30 minutes of automatic setup. This is applicable to all latest expensive phones coz they all use similar high end hardware even though they sell them at different prices. 5G options are not yet available on Indian phones and would probably get enabled via Ota update when 5G gets rolled out in India. I am happy with the device and would recommend it....! Thanks.

Not worth its price....

After using 3 days I am writing this review briefly. Pros: Sound quality is good and 65w warp charge is marvelous and camera is good but not too good. Cons: Battery draining very fast whether using or not using the mobile. Mobile heating is very high in normal usage and mid day condition and also due to whether Mobile heating is very high and if we keep idle also mobile not gets cool.This is biggest disappointment. Some time gets over heat we cannot Take photos and its shows warning message. Conclusion: I am totally disappointed this onePlus 9pro mobile and its not worth for 70k bugs.

To start with it, I went for this device since my spouse suggested and I'm really satisfied with the phone now. Performance is really great and the display is ? adequate. Coming to battery, it actually drains out little fast due to the highest display rate but hopefully OnePlus fix it at earliest. I did not face any heating issues so far and even it will be fixed eventually in the update I believe since OnePlus confirmed it in their forum. I'm confused why people just blindly complain the price tag. you people also should blame the eaple and the famsung.

After Latest update heating problem is somehow resolved. Now it doesn't heat that much. I guess one plus will make it better by and by. As far as heating is concerned even my ipad pro 11 2020 gets heated too much during google meet screen sharing or while running benchmark. Every phone gets heated, indeed one plus 9 pro had major heating issues initially but now its under control. Don't think that you will get better heat control and battery life just setting it up. Give it 3 to 4 days, its software takes time to balance battery life and heat. After 5th day, battery and heat control is good enough. Pro : best screen in the industry ( LTPO) Fastest charger Ip68, dual speaker and ultra wide camera is the best among flagship. NOTE : its camer is better than iphone 12 pro or max except vidoes. But no you tubers said so. You can checkout android authority, cnet and many other camera comparison with samples and you will find it far far better than iphone 12 pro max camera, but in videos iphone scores 20 while op9 pro scores 19. Zoom camera is mediocre. They should have given Periscopic lens at this price. Cons : 3 yr old selfie shooter, hey one plus stop doing this. Battery life is average. For 1 yr u will get updates quickly but once op 10 pro will get launched you will become second class citizens. One plus is becoming bad in updates.
