Vivo U10 - A great budget phone

I recently purchased Vivo U10 3gb ram 64gb rom version. Available in electric blue and thunder black colors, I had opted for the latter. I got it at a price of Rs.9,990. The phone came with a 6.35 inch touchscreen display that offered a resolution of 720x1544 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 19:59. The clarity was pretty clear and gave the feel of a notepad or kindle as far as reading is concerned. It claimed to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 655 processor, owing to which the functioning of the phone was pretty smooth, no hang issues (at least till now). The battery was 5,000mAH and supported fast charging. The phone can be used for 10-12 hours easily without charging.
Coming to the camera, the rear packed a 13 mp primary camera, a second 8 mp camera and a third 2 mp camera. Owing to the auto focus setting that the rear camera setup featured, I did not have to worry much about adjusting settings while clicking pictures. The picture quality however was just average. White balance had to be adjusted to brighten up the pictures. The front camera was 8 mp. While the selfie quality in natural light was still fine, it doesn't satisfy much in internal light settings. Although there's a beauty mode for selfies, the pictures were not crystal clear using the feature. The flash pictures were also average. The card tray had two sim card slots and one slot for memory card which could be opened using the pin provided. The dual sim smart phone accepted only nano sim cards.
The phone supported both fingerprint sensor and face unlock. While registering for the finger print, it takes more time than usual, requiring one to punch in 12-15 times to register completely. Connectivity options included bluetooth, wi-fi, gps, micro-usb,fm radio, 3g, 4g. The phone also had ambient light sensor right next to the front camera.
The packaging was decent and came equipped with the phone, a transparent back cover and a charger. The earphone was missing(they don't give you that, so you need to shell out some extra money here ).I also downloaded several games and heavy apps to check the phone's performance. It operated smooth and had no issues what so ever. The phone is a bit heavy but the look and the feel takes over. Overall, the phone is pretty decent within this price range as far as the performance and appeal is concerned but could have been improved in terms of picture quality and weight. It would also have been better if they gave a headphone with it.

One of the best phone in this price range.

I was looking for a phone which had a large screen, good battery life and a sleek design. Thankfully, VIVO launched a phone which not only had these qualities but many more. I am hooked on to games and movies. With a 6.35 inch display, the VIVO U10 has made my experience of watching movies and playing games much more rewarding. The quality of the camera and the battery life are really awesome. The best part, at Rs 9,990, the phone is easy on the pocket. Though I am quite satisfied with the phone but the only concern is that it takes too long for the phone to charge. Otherwise, the VIVO U10 is worth the money.

A perfect device for average device user

I was looking for a budget smart phone which can perform the entire task for me. I was using MI note 6 and looking for something fresh bcz I was bored with it’s UI. I explored the content available over internet and waited for it to buy after getting the right fitment against my requirement. I am so excited to share my personal experience after my early purchase of this device. I love taking pictures of mine and surrounding too. So great camera quality is one of my main priority, after using it now I must say that it has the best camera available in this budget.
It’s plastic made but mirror finish back panel is the coolest thing in my blue colour device. I also appreciate the makers for understanding our further need and offering the tempered glass and transparent back cover for device protection. Once you will keep the device handy it will give you a feel of it. With the brand tag line of Vivo “Camera & Music” it really impressed me.
I’ll surely recommend my fellow buyers to buy this cool device. But there is also something which can be improved so writing it in bullet points for your ease..

● It’s really a 100% value for money device.
● Run on latest version of Android “9”.
● In Box soft back cover and tempered glass.
● Dedicated kid mode for safety against unwanted operational activity of kids
● Finger print sensor in back of the device is at perfectly placed in the reach of fingers and open the device faster.

Surely you won't regret for buying this mobile. And you also get a free screen damage protection plan covered for one year. It is automatically activated once the order is placed.
Only one thing is missing, the type-C port. Not a big deal for most of the buyers though.
