This is one of the most amazing phones I have ever used. Now that I have used it for quite sometime (2-3 months I think), all that talk about phone getting heated etc. is all so ignorable. I mean, yes it gets heated, but its hardly noticeable. Infact if you compare it with other phones, there's hardly a difference. Also, if you are charging your phone while its lying on the table, how does it matter?
Anyways, its a wonderful phone overall.

Dont fall in trap for it's attractive price and features. Now a days there are many better alternative phones available in the market. The customer service is hopeless i submitted my phone for audio Jack Issue, they told they have to replace mother board. For that i submitted it on 5th month of its usage, it crossed a month at service centre. Initially they told it would take 4 days and then again they told max 10 days. Incredible VFM. No heating issues no lag nothing. This phone is a beast yet fluidic.
My reason to pick this device was - MIUI OS6, Excellent camera, 3GB RAM.

I have been using mi4 for a few months now as my 2nd phone... and have mostly good things to say:

Positives:
- Great camera with multiple shooting and editing options
- Wide screen selfie camera
- Great battery life
- Responsive touch with no lag

Deltas:
- Heating (but I have the same problem with my Samsung S6 which is 3 times in price)
- Error while opening some apps (miUI issue...however the problem has reduced as they release frequent updates)

I have used Mi3 for almost one year, then I purchased Mi4i and used for 2 months and then when I found price drop in Mi4 I decided to buy MI4 :) and gave my Mi4i to my sister.

Bought this phone, because of its good community support. Mokee and MIUI dualboot is an absolute treat. Also you'll get Windows 10 build later this year.

For 11k (Exchange+SBI + Appday) it was a steal. Also the processor SD801 >>> SD615 in terms of performance and benchmarks, so naturally avoided Mi4i.
Moreover 4G will take another 3 years to get coverage and affordable , the current 4G ...

This review is after one week of usage of Mi4. I purchased the product during the sale for 13.5k and I bet you, you can't find a better phone than this in this price range.

Ok, to begin with, I was really very worried before ordering Mi4 after reading so many overheating issues. However I still decided to give this phone a go.
