i saw lots of negative reviews on flipkart, but still believing in Xiomi i purchased this unit..
and now i can say, fastest phone ever i got.
do not go with negative reviews, those people just do not know how to use a smart phone.
they say it heats up, no it does not.
if you will use fast charger which comes with mi4 unit, yes it will get hot because it is normal with fast charger.
just go with it guys if 4G is not your priority.

This thing is a beauty..Just Sheer beauty..
No heating issues, whatever littlebit of heat is emmitted is expected! Its a freakin 801 snapdragon.
Everything about this phone screams CLASS

Mi rocks!

It has been my worst purchase on Flipkart. There is continuous error on opening of camera application on my newly purchased MI4.

I have rebooted the device twice still the problem persist. Request you to replace the device immediately.

1)Loved the phone and design.
2)Rear of the phone is plastic material and prone to minor scratches.
3)Rear CAM can also gets damages easily if there is no back cover.
4)Lightening fast and smooth to use
5)No 4G connectivity
6)Battery easily lasted for 2 full days in balanced and 1.5 days in performance mode (Normal usage - 1 hour calling, whatsapp, facebook, 1-2 hours youtube)
7)Tends to heat while charging or working on intensive/heavy apps - but did not experience over-heating yet.
8)I boug...

Phone specs are good but battery heating issue is still there. After using 3-4 months, the camera quality is average/shows yellow images. Battery temperature goes upto 47DegC.

Hi Everyone, i bought this phone for 15000, writing this review after using it for 1 week and definitely this phone is a premium product. It does heat-up a bit during charging but thats normal with fast charging,you dont have to worry on that. I used this phone for browsing for more than 2 hours and it never shows any signs of heat. May be if you play some games it might heat. For regular use, go ahead and buy this product and you wont regret your decision. The IR blaster works fine with PEEL...

so i got the phone today I have been using it for 5 hours
My observations
1.When charged with fast charger temperature goes upto 39 c actually it is normal on any other phone with fast charging but due to the metal frame it feels a bit warm on MI4 but not too hot as everyone claims
2.I compared the temperatures with nexus 5 using CPU z app and there was only 2 degrees difference at normal time and 4 degree when fast charging.
3.Under moderate use of watsapp etc temperature was around 35 to...

I expect to be more good not upto mark. More hype but i bought it at the time price is down happy for that...

I got it with the new Rs. 5000 price drop and also exchanged my HTC one M7 for Rs.5000. So effectively bought it for Rs.9999.
The phone is great and has a nice build quality.
It heats up a little bit but that is because it is a power house. It heats up when it charges because its a fast charger operating at 5-12V. So it charges very fast and heats in the process.
Battery is 3100mAH. But it works like a 2800mAh battery but still good.
Cameras are awesome. MIUI is awesome. If this holds up for...

Been using for over 6 months. Did not face a single crash. Excellent build and battery life. Dropped it many times and still not a blip on screen. Cool features like one hand navigation and amazing picture quality. Stopped using my DSLR after looking at HDR pictures from my Mi4 camera. Vivid colors and nice pixel clarity. Can't wait for the next version of Mi flagship device.
