Its been 2 months now, since I bought this phone from Flipkart, I am now starting to discover the problems in this phone.

Pros:
1. Display - Display is very good, but contrast ratio looks bad and it still falls short in displaying the complete blacks that I see on my old S3.
2. Build quality - No questioning on build quality, it is very eye appealing finished product.

About My self : I am a chemical engineer & i am techie. I used to repair mobiles and develope software from Symbian OS times and now developing softwares for android as my hobbie, normaly i wont write any reviews but this product made me to do this.

I bought this phone after a big hike by Flipkart ,Freinds and Media. I realized that many people are confused that Mi is stealing data and mainly it is made in china.Let us look at the facts:

Sol.) [[ go to settings>advance options>battery>battery mode and turn on the battery saver mode. ]] {note : performance mode consumes a lot of hardware this caused heating problem thus prevent this option during light operations like browsing , chatting ....}

Don't worry each phone get's little hot during use.

main problems
1. heating around the camera on large apps or more uses
2. having less storage.
3. when i play nova3 game that my phone switch off and auto start automatically.
4. gorilla glass is so light so it can be break easily.

Dont you dare go for this mobile. It clearly demonstrate the chinese quality product.It gets heated so hard that you dont even dare to keep it on your ears.

I raise the request to return this mobile and filpkart people just did not accept it. They tried to keep me one or the other loop and ensured that I keep the mobile with me for the till the return policy is expired.

Here are the issue I have faced with the mobile along wiht the justificatino by MI4 technical team.
1.It is getting heated...

Before buying this phone i was in confusion between OPO and Mi4 but due to my smaller hands i preferred Mi4 and its totally worth it.. I switched from HTC, definitely I was a bit worried but this phone has lived my expectations.I have used it for 12 days now and this is what i felt

Booked and had the Mi4 delivered during the launch, used it for a week during the course of which updated to 6.3.9, and then the phone started heating beyond normal. Had to return and request a replacement. Flipkart return was prompt.

For 19999/- the Mi4 is priced higher by 1000/- if not more.

Good to V Good, get 2.5 to 3 days on a single charge running on 2G with Wifi On. Talk time approx 90mts, and Skype around 30mts. No GPS usage.

Purchased it in the Flash sale held on 10th Feb. There is no doubt that for a price of Rs. 20k it offers great specs, However, in my usage of over a month, I have observed the following drawbacks in the phone:

1. The phone is prone to heating up during the period it is being charged.

2. Also, the phone heats up if carried when walking outdoors, particularly on a sunny day.

Everyone knows that Xiaomi Mi4 is a good value for money and had great features but there are issues also with this which u can't ignore. Below r the cons-
1. No earphone inside the accessories box, shame on Xiaomi, every mobile brand gives earphone.
2. Heating problem during call, charging and playing games but that user can bear.
3. The worst part is 3080mAh battery doesn't last a day with normal use.

I am totally dissatisfied with battery issue. :(

Brought this 64 GB product from Flipkart. The phone has very poor battery. I did not use the SIM, just used wi-fi, no games, no calls, did download a theme using wi-fi

Battery charging till 100% took long time, discharge was quicker, down to 8% in less than 12 hours in the above stated operational conditions
