now it's 2017,in today's technology their is no need of charging 8hr because,after full charge it will automatically cuts the charge entering the phone better maintain the battery cycle 20%-80%.

yes it has gorilla glass 3 protection ... 2.5 D curved glass .. but i will still recommend using a protection tempered glass over it

no,even while you charging the phone not heated. I am using this for one month and before this phone I used mi note 4,note 4 gets too much heated but this phone does not over heats.
