Ufff i have wasted my money

Ear piece problems , display issues , mic issues and i got defective product and i have contacted amazon and OnePlus they are helpless, this is very sad

8 pro is complete beast and marvelously smooth....but some serious issues in display like black crush, greenish tint and dark band on punch hole......and I asked for replacement from Amazon.....that asked for issues verification and and I sended this photos to them and the declined ,said no issue is visible in these photos.....and issues in display are clearly visible.....I request everyone pls check ur device in complete dark room with lowest brightness and dark made on.....than this issue will be visible.....not acceptable issue in such an expensive phone

Don't buy it, until OnePlus fixes Black Bar, Green tint issue
& Until Amazon promises to replace your product until the customer is not satisfied.
I bought it and faced BlackBar, green tint issue in my display.. Made replacement. The replacement unit is also faulty.. asking for replacement again but they are refusing to replace, they are saying we can give you the refund but can't replace it. If am getting defective product and want this phone only
So amazon should provide their quality service. And should listen to customer and should do what customer wants.

Okay guys I wont say it has no issues still but, do i see any issues on the day to day usage- No
Is any software experience compromised or any issue which is eye sore - No
Notification bar Issue is still there but will show up if you reeeeeally look for it particularly in grey background and lowest brightness. So i guess if you use your phone with lights off and have a greyed out background then you might find it. Overall an awesome phone with great screen and a good camera.

A true beast!

Got the product in 2 days . Thanks to seller!
Pros:
Good haptics
Fast and snapy os
Rear cams are good
Really loud speakers
120hz qhd display is good. But don't expect something mesmerizing.
Glacial green looks really nice as the actual colour of the phone is into the blueish tone matte finish.
Not gonna talk much on the hardware specs it's good and it's all over the internet.
Cons:
Camera bump
Screen cannot be dimmed enough. Seems like they are doing this to hide green tint or black crush.
Phone is big and single handed use is a challenge.
Selfie cam is a let down
Battery drains quick if you opt 120hz at qhd.
Also compared to iphone 11 pro which loses battery around 3% overnight on standby this one loses 7-8% on standby overnight.
Overall this phone is great! I love it more than iphone 11 pro .
This gives more value for money than iphone does.
And the software experience is remarkable.

Oneplus 8 Pro, A flagship Killer Phone, Yes it is indeed a Flagship Killer.
- My Story with Oneplus :
- I want to spend 60 thousand on a phone, and i choose oneplus 8 pro, and this is the best decision.
- Firstly, I was worried about the screen issues which people reported in April, May, June, 2020. I can understand, it might have display issues, I agree, but the phones which are manufactured after June the company fixed everything, this is what oneplus executive told me when i called oneplus customer care, i had many doubts but they clarified it pretty decent.
Now with issues :
NO BLACK CRUSH, NO UP-SCALING OF BLACKS, NO BLACK SPOT ON THE CURVES OF SCREEN, NO GREEN TINT. ALL I OBSERVED IN BLACK BAR ONLY WHEN USING GOOGLE CHROME, WHICH I NEED MICROSCOPE TO SEE IN DARK WITH KEEPING THE MOBILE IN ZERO BRIGHTNESS. IT IS NOT EVEN A PROBLEM. I DIDN'T FIND SINGLE ISSUE WITH SCREEN.
Pros :
- Display : ( 120 Hz display ) with QHD+ support it just makes your phone to stay in other league compared with other phones. The resolution, brightness, pixel density. It is a marvelous piece of tech.
- Motion Smooth Graphics : Works with every video in full screen be it online streaming or local video files. It Just makes a buttery smooth experience. I cant explain you need to get on hands to see this option, but is just so good to watch videos, improving the frame rate.
- Performance : I bought 8 GB with 128 GB storage, Frankly speaking this is more than enough for me, Now in regards with Performance just a premium super smooth, extreme fast performance, NO LAGS. Multitasking of apps is just incredible.
- Gaming : I played PUBG and Some other games, NO OVER HEATING. Temps are normal, Extreme performance and so smooth and software optimization for gaming is just awesome, very responsive for touch. No network lags as the bands are supporting higher frequencies. Can buy if you are concerned for gaming.
- Camera : This is most important segment for me, and it just blows me off. The upgrade from 7t pro to 8 pro is so significant, the camera shots are just jaw dropping, low light, outdoor, indoor, potraits etc are so good that you wont regret in the segments of camera, the selfies are nice. The shots have very good dynamic range and details.
- Charging : Just a flagship Charger WARP 30 W charging is incredible. Full Charge in less than one hour.
- Battery: Now people are concerned about battery too. Let me get this straight, the battery drains fast if you use it in QHD+ and 120 hz but I am using in same QHD+ and 120 hz and I am getting a solid battery life of 6.5 to 7 hours of continuous usage. Which is so good for such a display, you can save more battery if you run it on 60 hz and FHD+ you can get 9 hrs of usage life. Gaming, Multitasking is not effecting battery so significantly, a light gaming is fine, until you run PUBG or COD for hours then battery drains quickly.
- Sound : Dolby Atmos Surrounded Sound is just out of the park listening experience. So premium the vocals are clear and bass and treble for inbuilt sound is decent. It is loud enough and crystal clear. So good Sound.
CONS:
- There are no Major Cons but some to be included is
- Camera : Front camera doesn't have a wide angle lens, and single camera is decent but a wide angle less would be awesome for that price.
- I didn't have any other concern with rear camera. Best in Class.
Now Regarding Chinese Brand :
Well for the people who doesn't know this. Oneplus 8 pro is assembled in India. So this is not made in china. Yeah it is a chinese brand, but we are not paying any imports and taxes to china because it is assembled in India. I didnt have much concerned about this because we dont have a better alternative for this price with all this features in a phone. Samsung, Apple all have their units made in china, but Oneplus is making their premium phones in India. I am happy about that atleast. And I cant find any Indian brand or Foreign brand that makes phone at this price with this level of optimization and performance.
Final Verdict : After Usage of quite some time, I've been Using it for 4 to 5 days till now and my unit is made on
7-7-2020 and I ordered on AMAZON on 16th July 2020. I received on 20th July 2020. NON PRIME MEMBER. The packaging is so nice. And the delivery is awesome.
Will Update after using 3 weeks.
Just Go Buy it without any second thoughts. I would recommend this phone and rate a 10/10 for Price and Performance.

Device is plagued by display issues

Bought the device on 15th june and overall device is the best you can get but i started noticing display issues 2 days back,oneplus has promised a fix in the next update and i hope it delivers otherwise will have to get a replacement from the service centre,the greenish tint is only visible in the night with dark theme enabled,i came from an iphone X and i love this device but it would be very hard to let go.

this is my genuine review .. after the two days im face the hole punch blackbar issue in my phone display in lowest brightness, and black crush issue . im turn off 120h and dc dimmer off i feel better now .. im happy with the phone
if i have more issues i will claim with oneplus customer support .. now im going to keep the phone
