THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE BUYING:

colour filter camera is disabled for a while
Not sure when OnePlus would enable it back
But overall it's the best value for money phone that u can get right now

Yeah. So finally i got the phone after trying for the last 4 sell dates. Is it worth it? Well, for me, yes. for you? only you can say it.
Day 1 - Did every test, just like everyone, and found no issues, none.
Day 3- Did the software update and at night, when I was in the complete low brightness, the infamous black bar appears for the first time- BUT- It is so subtle that sometimes even I am not sure if it's there or just in my mind. The thing is, I know about it, because I know about it. Last time I had a Samsung S8 before it and even that had a black crush and red tint issue but for the two years I spent with it, I never really had a problem.
Its been 5 more days of, rough use and keeping an eye every time I am using this phone - and again, I don't see the black bar there even though I am looking for it especially - 99% of the time.
So now that the black bar is not really a concern for me, do I find it, the best?- Well, no. The disappoints lie somewhere else. It's the front camera and the fingerprint reader in my case. None of them is the 55k standard and even with no scratch guard in place, the fingerprint reader fails 40% time and takes really long to open up the rest of the time.
I look at anything else in this phone apart from these things, and I am more than impressed at what I find. And I would say that you definitely cant go wrong with this. But then again, it's upto you.

Issue with display

Great device....
Only thing is,the lowest brightness is a bit high to use in dark.Also all display issues (black bar,uneven colours) surface at lowest brightness.

One plus 8 pro ..beast phone with faulty display

Pros
1.Battery is well managed and optimized .with 120HZ refresh rate you can get a min of 5:30 hrs SOT that was really appreciated
2.Camera was performing good job in low light conditions and snaps are with great dynamic contrast and sharpness and post image processing was improved well compared to previous op phones
3. Coming to processor SD865 is ultimate for gaming..even you can play any game at highest graphic settings especially pubg it will be buttery smooth even with highest graphic not even single frame drop I've noticed..
4.oxygen OS is super snappy
5.inhand feel was too good.you will really feel like holding a flagship. Frosted glass black is not taking any fingerprints which was really appreciated nice finish
Cons:

Display issue and battery drainage is high

Don't buy this phone.Display issues are there like black crash.Brightness level is different on the upper part and lower part of the screen.U can identify it with 120HZ &QHD+ resolution.One plus customer support is the worst they don't respond you.I have been trying for 3 days.And one plus had officially banned color filter camera.Please don't buy the phone.

Great Device

Overal excellent device. Noticed some green tint issues but they are extremely subtle and not even in every app. Only noticed while watching one particular show on Netflix, so not even issue in the same app. You can go for it, everybody seems to make a very small software issue a large one

Good phone But Display Problem ????

Phone performance is really amazing and everything is awesome but there is a issue in display in the dark mode where there is a black bar and a dead pixels in the upper right corner of the phone above the battery indicator....!
Disappointed by Amazon that they could not provide me the replacement but they refunded me the amount I can't buy the phone again Because it's on Flash sale????????

I have been using the phone for over a week now with 7+ hours usage daily.
Pros :
Screen Resolution : One of the best screen resolutions in the market, a rare phone in which you get 120hz refresh plus quad hd+ screen Resolution. The video stabilization during am online stream is also brilliant.
Charging speed : Warp30 wired charging does its job, full charge in under an hour.
Speed : The games like PUBG, COD etc are played without issues. There is minimum heating of the device for me. The screen Resolution really gives a difference to your experience. The ram management is awesome, not a hint of lag in multiple apps usage at the same time.
Audio : The clarity is noticeable, the volume is great and the sound doesn't crack at high volumes.
Glacial Green color : This is a brilliant color, the finish is great ! Better than Black
Cons :
1) The stock screen protector is of low quality, it doesn't cover the curved part of the screen properly, hence your palms can make it come off.
2) The curved screen is some getting used to, sometimes the fingers touch them unknowingly and it registers as a touch which spoils the browsing experience. The content also from popular apps spills over to these edges, gives a little inconvenience If these apps have placed any buttons on thr edges.
3) The front camera is not powerful, just a 16mp . Although the camera does its job but a lot more is left for improvement.
4) Rear camera is no ground breaking. However it's still an improvement.
5) The rear camera bump makes the phone unstable if kept on its back on a surface.
Summary :
Oneplus8 pro because if it's Oxygen OS, silky smooth screen, big battery with fast charge and water resistant rating is worthful buy. The Green color has been a pleasant surprise for me.
