This phone is not a phone. Its actually a heater disguised in the form of a phone. Whenever there is a power cut I use this phone as a pan and make pancakes on it. Such an amazing phone. -_-

I bought this phone almost 10 days ago. The delivery happened in a day, and I paid 90 bucks extra for it.

Upon opening the case, it seemed exactly like an IPhone. The metal on the sides goes well with polished white on the back. Setting up the phone was easy enough.

The screen is fantastic with amazing display clarity. The front camera is very impressive. The rear one too, is fast and takes good pictures.

The user interface is pretty good, easy to find your way around stuff.

I have been using this handset since almost a month now. Before buying this product I was reading a lot of user reviews complaining about heating problem with the set. However, after a month usage, and playing a lots of graphics intensive games such as asphalt 8, real racing 3, pirates, sky force etc I must say the device never got heated up and never ever crashed.

Pros:
1) The camera is undoubtedly one of the best in the segment(I compared with Asus Zenfone 2 which also offers almost same...

I'm completed flatted with the features, for the price quoted. NO heating issues or lagging problems like Sony or Samsung (my earlier mobiles). But weigh little compared to other Mi mobiles. Overall i'm very satisfied with the mobile.

not a very good device with following faults;
1. Heating beyond tolerance.
2. unstable software after last upgrade, gets on in the pocket and dials numbers.
3.B grade camera at the best with blurred pictures.
4. battery backup not up to the mark.
5. very fragile display with no gorilla glass.
6. No second slot for second sim.
and lastly, it appears that the dealer knows all the defects and is not ready to replace the device at all.

Great specs for the price, amazing look and feel, makes you feel wonderful for a day or two and then you have problems.
I purchased a Mi 4 64GB and was so happy with its performance, purchased another for my wife. In a week, my phone's speaker died, it wouldn't make any sound at all. I called Mi and they said it is a Hardware fault. I checked the second phone which I had just received by then, the speaker worked well for like 5 minutes and then boom.. it was worse. I am in love with this phone from the moment I have held it in my hands.
Most of the reviews here has helped me decide to buy this phone so many thanks to all the reviewers.

I feel it is better to get the 64GB version though as you don't get expandable storage.

never buy xiaomi company product bcz its services after selling product is like hell,
i was submitted my mobile on 27/03/15 for display problem first they told me that this is not their fault but after argument they accept that problem is manufacturing defect.
and now all that done they can not give any answer about when my mobile is ready.
till date i m following up Xiaomi company as well as Ensure Services (Xiaomi Service provider in surat, Gujarat) ,,,
so its my opinion do not buy any type...
