Guys let me give you a fair review based on 3 days regourous use.
Phone hangs while using applications.
Built quality is good.
Camera is very good.
Before I did a hard reset 4g Volte did not work.
Battery is average. Not as advertised.
Keypad doesn't turn up whileb trying to use Credit card payment for Uber( huff).
Ear phone issues. I had to restart the phone at times to use ear phones.
Playstore downloads get stuck sometimes.

After a long time (Nokia lumia 730 is my last phone of nokia) I swiched to Nokia by purchasing 8.1 recently.
Pros : 1) Gorgeous display.
2) Latest software with quick updates
3) Moderate battery back up
4) Sound quality of speaker and ear phone is good.
5) Blazing fast finger print sensor
6) Good rear camera photos.
7) Direct video calling
8) No bloat ware.
Cons:1) Slippery
2) Fragile handset,prone to damage easily.
3) No corning gorilla glass,rather used some japanese glass which is not at all sturdy as corning's.
4) No notification LED
5) Gestures are not good and enough as well.
6) Front camera photos coming out oversaturated.
7) Snapdragon 710 is just an incremental upgrade over SD 660, even recently released SD 675 outperformed SD 710.
8) Costly @ 27,000. I observed the same handset (as Nokia X7) available global stores online for as low as 21,000,even 6GB/128GB version available below 26k.
I got my phone from amazon on 03/01/19 and accidentally slipped from my pocket within 48hrs.Just a feet fall and the screen broken instantly.Very fragile handset..please be careful.

This is a great spec. Mid range premium phone.
710 Handel all types of apps and heavy games easily and the battery back up also up to mark.

Camera quality is decent but I can't compare it with Lumia phone's camera quality. Please Nokia do something with camera part.

Battery life is decent, not that bad.

Now come to the flaw part... It doesn't have Corning Gorilla glass protection which is a huge disappointment for me.

I got to know this after I got this phone, on the second day of use I saw some marks on my screen and when I tried to remove it, I get to know these are not simple marks but scratches.
Such a poor decision of Nokia not to bring Gorilla glass to this beautiful phone to keep its beauty for longer period.

Sorry to say but it is a huge failure for Nokia. I wish I could get replace my phone with a new one. :(

The build quality of this nokia phone ultimately very poor. The glass they have used is just a common glass very prone to get erode . Sound quality is not up to such level which need to be mention hear. Phone is prone to slip quickly. If want to waste your hard money then you buy it.

I wanted to change my mobile since mid-2018 and was waiting to buy best bang-for-the-buck mobile. I ordered this as a new year gift to myself and is pretty happy about its performance. I'm writing this after using for 1 week. Snapdragon 710 processor is absolutely amazing. Although having a 4 GB ram, I had no problem installing and working with more than 25 apps. Mobile signal reception is good. The battery life, too, is great. The adaptive battery (because of Android 9 - Pie) makes the battery last even longer. The fast charging experience is good too. I was able to charge it from 3% to 99% within 45 mins.
The only issues, I found are 1) Back panel is also made of glass making it fragile, but the side frame is metallic; 2) The sound is not as high as I expected it to be (maybe because it has only one speaker, compared to 2 in case of Nokia 7 plus).
If coupled with a quality tempered glass/screen guard (above 6D glass), and a sturdy rugged armour back case; this phone is the best possible mobile in 25K-30K range. I bought it for 25.5K on HDFC offer (thanks to the seller for providing non-cost EMI also).

Bought this at year end with HDFC EMI so got Rs.1500 off. Build quality is good with smooth edges of glass. Right out of the box it loads Android Pie which is smoothly running with no app hanging experienced yet. if you keep the camera on then the back of the phone gets warm quickly. Charging is fast with provided charger. battery life depends on activity performed. If you attend calls then battery life is excellent however if you shoot photos or watch videos then it will not last more than one day. One thing which is irritating and not been pointed out in other reviews is that the camera bump is quite pronounced. In spite of putting inside a case the camera bump still sticks out. Overall in the range of Rs. 25k to 30k there are no other brand new phones with android pie. Please dont buy older model phones based on price drop because they will most likely not receive updated android versions. Under Android One software updates are covered. Happy Shopping.

Phone is not durable..screen is very fragile..just slipped out of my hand from a very minimal height and screen got broken, even my screen protector is fine and as Nokia care is also not helping me out as it's not covered in warranty. So I have to replace the screen at my own expenses.

2 issues I am facing for the phone
1) all apps crashes once in a day with mesg, "app is not responding" - the only solution I have for this is to restart the phone
2 The touch pad don't respond quickly this happens once in two days ..- solution I need to do is lock the screen and unlock again

It was very good deal for me . I am very much happy with the performance and quality of device. Excellent build quality, Processor is very poweful and this 4GB varient absolutely handles big amd small size application very well due to best RAM management, battery is also good. To be frank donot compare with other devices as it is one of its own kind of device with HDR 10 support and manymore hidden features at this price. Also it is Android One device. So need not to worry about updates also it comes with Android Pie 9.0 out of the box.
Simple i would say go and buy it.

i was a fancy for Nokia Long time ago. After a long gap this the first phone to buy. Nokia is as such a trusted name in the market. No one doubts about the credibility and quality of the Nokia Product. I am using this phone for the last 5 days. I didn't find any issue with the phone. Sound Clarity, Display, Build and Looks, Performance and speed, Battery Life, Camera are all excellent. Apart from all these, it is an Android One phone. No unwanted software and the system runs very smoothly. Few people have expressed their doubt regarding the RAM. The RAM provided in this phone is 4 GB RAM. For an Android One phone like Nokia 8.1 the 4 GB RAM is more than enough. Don't hesitate to buy Nokia 8.1. It is the Best in it's price range.
